Achieving the Birth You Want
A series of 4 Childbirth Education Workshops
The doulas from Chrysalis Birth and Spirit of Birth are
holding a series of workshops specifically designed to help you plan for the
birth you want.
Basics of Birth - How your body works in birth and what to expect. This workshop is also a great refresher for women who have previously given birth. Active Birth Skills - This will be a hands-on practical workshop and is wonderful for birth partners/. We will show you and your birth partner/s how to help you through birth. That's Not in My Birth Plan - Variations and Deviations of birth. Like all parts of life, sometimes things don't go to plan. In this workshop we will be discussing prevention, interventions, ceasarean surgery and much more. The Journey to Birth - Birth is not just a physical event. There are changes to relationships, family structures, as well as an intense emotional & spiritual journey. We'll be discussing what to expect and how to handle these new experiences.
