A doula (pronounced "doó la", also known as a labour coach or birth attendant, is a nonmedical person who assists a woman before, during, or after childbirth, as well as her partner and/or family by providing information, physical assistance, and emotional support. Continuous support during labour by doulas is associated with improved maternal and fetal health and a variety of other benefits.
 

Our Services

Doula services include:
  • Doula support packages to suit your needs.  Choose from Comprehensive or the Ultimate Deluxe Doula Support;
  • Individual prenatal sessions for couples preparing for birth, including extensive Private Childbirth Preparation;
  • Post-natal support packages for the new family, including breastfeeding and sleeping guidance;
  • Placenta Encapsulation.
We also provide various education services and more generalised support to the community, including:
  • a regular discussion group - Bellies, Birth & Babes;
  • education workshops on pregnancy, birth and parenting;
  • belly casting;
  • Mother Blessing workshops and individual sessions;
  • community talks to businesses, organisations and groups.
We are also committed to providing a certain amount of volunteer hours to women in our community each year.
